Hegelmann is committed to electrifying its logistics. As part of a pilot project with Daimler, we evaluated how zero-emission technologies could be implemented within our logistics network.

In this partnership, we investigated how charging infrastructure could be implemented in our Karlsdorf-Neuthard facility to support the procurement of electric long-haul vehicles.

This included route analysis of our transport activities to evaluate candidates for route electrification and an on-site assessment to estimate power demand.

We commenced the design project to equip our Karlsdorf-Neuthard with 15 charging stations. To meet the required power levels, we are also engaging our local energy provider to upgrade the network.

We are wrapping up the concept phase of this project and are committed to implementing it as we drive progress towards a more sustainable future in logistics.
